baklava

4.21.2008

These look more like spring rolls than baklava. I've made the more traditional square or triangular stacks of layers numerous times, but today I just wanted to approach it from a different perspective. Also the nut filling is a different take from the traditional one, this consists of pecans and Brazilian nuts instead of pistachios or walnuts. maple syrup
