There is something therapeutic about paring fruit and paring I did. In order to prepare 2 lbs of organic pears to make some yummy grub for my little guy, I spent 2 hours paring, cutting, steaming (it is recommended to do so for babies under 8 months), and pureeing these sweet gems. It was all worth it because he absolutely loves eating pears, especially when they are mixed into his rice cereal.

ingredients:
- 2 lbs organic pears
- pare and core pears. cut into chunks
- steam pears and mash or puree to baby's preference
- mix into rice cereal or oatmeal to thicken up
